On Saturday, February 15, Prescott Elementary and Pathways students were featured guests on Sally Baker’s WEE POETS’ 41st Anniversary TV show at Berkeley Community Media. WEE POETS is a free TV poetry program for children between the ages of 6-13 years old. WEE POETS is a non-profit, educational community service that seeks to improve children’s literacy skills through creation and interpretation of poetry in a multimedia environment.

Our students demonstrated their physical literacy and created poetry in motion by performing a juggling and balance routine. We all got a behind-the-scenes look at how a TV show is put together and all of the people it takes to make it happen!
