Over 80 students and families participated in our 2026 Black Joy Parade contingent on February 22nd. Students from Bella Vista, Piedmont Ave., Fruitvale, Esperanza, Montera, and our Pathways programs inspired thousands of smiles, cheers, and waves as they stilt danced, juggled, and clowned along the route set to the rhythms of master drummer, Baba Mosheh and Bantaba. We were joined by Vincent du St. Germaine and his art car, The Pacific, that leveled up our presence this year. Special thanks to our families, Vincent, Kristen Parks and Slim Chance of Circosphere and volunteers for supporting the successful event.
