We are learning a new hip hop dance. The song is Sitting on Top of the World. Coach Ceara is teaching us and leading the dance. One of the moves in the dance is the Running Man. We are dancing to this song because it gives a positive message.

This year with the dance, I wanted to take a trip down memory lane with a blast from the past. I decided to go with a popular track from the late 90’s early 2000’s called Sitting On Top of The World, sung by Brandy featuring rapper Ma$e. Its fun and interesting watching which kids catch on to the steps quickly and who has two left feet lol. I also try to watch the different styles of dance that each student has or likes and try to incorporate it into the dance somehow. It’s coming along piece by piece.
