    The Prescott Circus Theatre, with the Oakland Spirit Orchestra and the YAP Choir, returns to the stage with a Spectacular Spring Showcase featuring the talent and pride of Oakland youth!

    FREE to public. Donations are welcomed.100% of the donations will go towards our artists and production expenses. Please consider making a contribution!

    We Can Play Here! is a multi-disciplinary, multigenerational show about the joy of play.

    We Can Play Here! was conceived by Prescott Circus Theatre 2023-2024 teaching artist cohort. This year's theme aims to engage audiences and young artists in song, music, and circus to celebrate play, the importance for us to create spaces for play for our children, and assertion that our children have a right to space in our cities, schools, towns to express their joyful selves.


    The Studio One Art Center has lawn seating. Bring a blanket if you wish! The show is about one hour long.

    This performance will offer Spanish translation. Esta actuación ofrecerá traducción al español.  The Prescott Circus Theatre presents a return with our annual, FREE, summer performance for the public. The events will take place at DeFremery Park on Saturday, July 13 at 2:00pm. Summer 2024 program students have been learning, training, and growing over the past six weeks to create a show to inspire! Through this captivating performance, students demonstrate their amazing talents in juggling, acrobatics, unicycling, stilt walking, hambone body percussion, hip hop dance, balancing, and clowning. Performers will include Oakland students in grades 3-12 from every part of the city. This event is supported in part by the Oakland City Council and funded by the City of Oakland's Cultural Funding Program, Oakland Fund for Children and Youth, East Bay Community Foundation, Port of Oakland, and our community of loving supporters. Special thanks to Prescott Elementary School and the Oakland Unified School District.
