Seeking Spanish Translator / Performer for April 22

Prescott Circus Theatre is seeking to contract ($) a Spanish language translator / performing artist for a free public performance on Saturday, April 22 in Oakland, CA. The show takes place from 1:30 – 2:30pm. Working hours would likely be 1:00 – 3:00pm with additional prep time phone / zoom meeting and script review.

The 60-minute show consists of children performing circus routines, singing, and instrumental music.
Spanish translation would happen alongside our MC starting 20 minutes before showtime when we begin making announcements and welcoming audiences. Following, speaking will take place at the beginning of the show, in-between routines (1 – 3 minutes at a time), and at the end of the performance. The show takes place outdoors in a public park in Oakland.

The best candidate for the show would be someone with performing experience who can work alongside our MC, a professional actress and clown, to present the show with charisma and joy.
