Yesterday in class, we started to put together the acrobatics act. So far we’ve casted a group pyramid trick called the zipper, cartwheels, forward rolls, and dive rolls. We still have a number of different tricks that we still have to cast. Casting is when we select students to perform certain tricks for the acts. To get chosen, you have to “qualify” in that trick, which means that you can do it well enough in front of an audience.
Judy* and I also put together some choreography for the juggling act as well. (See clip below!)
We also went over the stilt dance and it looks amazing!
Everything is starting to come together very nicely and I can’t wait until the performances!
