We proudly welcome all to our 2017 Showcase performances on Saturday, March 25th at Oakland Technical High School. Over 100 talented Oakland youth will demonstrate their talents and skills in two spectacular shows guaranteed to amaze and inspire. The hard working 3rd-8th grade students will perform juggling, acrobatics, stilt dancing, clowning, unicycle, hambone body percussion, hip-hop dance, balancing acts and much more.
Oakland Spirit Orchestra (OSO) is a thirty-piece band that features talented kids from Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary, Lafayette Elementary, West Oakland Middle School, Westlake Middle School, and Montera Middle School. The kids construct their own arrangements, write their own music, and improvise. The aim of OSO is to uplift the spirits of the world through music and kindness.
